Chiaro means clear and light in Italian. It was inspired by that feeling after a ride when your mind feels quieter, lighter, and more settled than when you started. While we love the physical side of riding bikes, Chiaro is really about what movement does for us mentally. A bike ride has a way of untangling the noise of the day and turning it into something simpler.

Our logo reflects that journey. Inspired by real bike routes through Stanley Park, Victoria, and the Cowichan Valley, the lines move from a tangled, chaotic pattern into a clear path, symbolizing the way movement helps us find clarity.

I’m in between sizes—should I size up?
Yes! If you’re between sizes, we recommend sizing up. Our fabric is compressive and designed to hug your body, so going up one size will give you a more comfortable fit.

Can I wear the onesie for a triathlon?
On paper, the Chiaro Biking Onesie is made from very similar fabrics to what you’d find in many triathlon suits (80% nylon and 20% spandex). That means it’s breathable, stretchy, and quick-drying. The main difference is in the bum padding: our onesie is designed specifically for cycling, the chammy isn’t the thinner, quick-dry style you’ll usually see in triathlon suits. After the swim, it may hold a bit more water and feel noticeable.

Can I wear it without a sports bra?
The Onesie is designed with enough stretch and coverage to wear either with or without a sports bra, depending on your preferences.

Is it machine washable?
Yes — just wash cold and hang to dry. Avoid the dryer to preserve fabric stretch and longevity.
